It's my first day in New York and I have found myself at a library in Chinatown talking to a man about the card game Rummy. He is in the library looking up English words he doesn't know in the Spanish-English dictionary to get a feel for them in his native language. What a way to start off my Friday. Today's agenda is to go as the wind blows and in the midst of it read 20 pages, read/write my mission 10 times, some capoeira, and possibly playing Rummy with this guy at the library. Not too shabby of a day I must say. I'm excited to see what it holds. As you embark on the way, the way appears. I have also deemed it important to embark on sharpening my storytelling skills. I've looked up some exercises today to try to hone. It was a wonderful walk to the library and even though I didn't get to stretch this morning, my body got a nice physical introduction to the world. Let me see what this Rummy game is about.
