Thoughts from Church

"See yourself where God is going to take you."

"God will never ask you to perform something that he hasn't prepared you to do."

"No more excuses I am asking you to grow in God."

Pastor Hurst

"Create in me a clear heart. O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me." Psalm 51:10

"What shall I render on to the Lord for all of the benefits you have given me." Psalm 1:12?

I am grateful that I am able to find myself anywhere I go. I can see myself in all things. Understand the authority you have because you are in God and God is in you. Don't revel in the spirit of bashfulness when you know who you are and where you are going. I am grateful to know that even when I falter of feel a little less connected to my true self, I am picked up and set right back on the road and turned toward God ( my highest self) once again.

All of this is great, but the thought that rings the loudest is when I asked my momma her thoughts about me introducing my project to her friends. She told me I sound bashful. "It's okay to be confident," she said. I took it in and let it be. Yet, it's hitting me right now, in the middle of this church service. I never want her to say that again. I want to hear nothing but I am proud of you. I know what that looks like in her eyes. I only want to see that look in her eyes but to have that effect I have to feel that within myself. Practice masking your voice until you know it in your spirit. Say it as many times as you need until you are beaming with it and can't contain it anymore. And even in this I give myself grace because I know I didn't know this yesterday and I am grateful to know it today.
